AxonQuiz (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

• Email address
• Display name
• Profile photo (if provided through Google Sign-In)

Study Data

• Quiz sessions, scores, and question-level performance history
• Study streaks, accuracy rates, and progress statistics
• Deck configurations, preferred study modes, and app settings

Content You Create or Import

• Custom question decks you create within the app
• Questions imported from CSV, Excel, or other sources

Free NDEB AFK Self-Test (no account needed)

If you enter your email on the self-test at axonquiz.com/ndeb-afk/self-test/, we store:

• Your email address
• Your self-test score, overall and by content area, and how many times you took it
• Whether you agreed to receive marketing emails, the exact wording you agreed to, and when
• The date and time of each submission

We do not store your IP address, device or location with this information. Your individual answers stay in your browser and are not sent to us.

Technical and Usage Information

• Platform type (web or Android) and app version
• Anonymous usage events: feature interactions, screen views, session duration
• Crash reports: stack traces and device state captured at the time of an error

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the AxonQuiz service
• To sync your study data across devices
• To identify bugs and improve performance via crash reports
• To send account-related transactional emails (password reset, email verification)
• To count and understand self-test sign-ups (for example, which content areas people find hardest)
• Only if you ticked the box on the self-test: to send occasional study tips and AxonQuiz early-access news from support@axonquiz.com. Every such email tells you how to unsubscribe, and you can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing support@axonquiz.com with the subject Unsubscribe. We act on unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
• We never sell your email address or share it for anyone else’s marketing
• To comply with applicable legal obligations

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored using Firebase (a Google service), with servers primarily located in North America. By using AxonQuiz, you consent to the transfer and storage of your information in these regions.

4. Third-Party Services

• Firebase / Google: Authentication, cloud database (Firestore), analytics, and file storage. Subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Sentry: Crash reporting and error monitoring. Subject to Sentry’s Privacy Policy.
• Stripe (future): Payment processing for premium features. Stripe handles payment data under their own privacy policy. We do not store full card details.

5. Payments

Payments and premium subscriptions are not currently active in the mobile beta. When payments are enabled in a future release, they will be processed by Stripe and subject to their privacy policy.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data

7. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your local study data at any time from Settings → Delete Study Data within the app.

To request full account deletion (including removal of your account and all associated data from our servers), email support@axonquiz.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request. We will process your request within 30 days.

Self-test emails are kept until you ask us to delete them, or for 24 months after your last self-test or our last email to you, whichever comes first. To have yours deleted sooner, email privacy@axonquiz.com.

8. Children’s Privacy

AxonQuiz is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at privacy@axonquiz.com.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

10. Contact
